UNAWEEP

CLIMBING &

MINDFULNESS

WEEKEND

UNAWEEP CANYON CLIMBING + MINDFULNESS SPRING RETREAT

  • Our Unaweep Climbing + Mindfulness weekend is focused on embracing the spring climbing season! Refamiliarize yourself with outdoor cragging while finding flow and intentionallity in your climbing.

Our guides will meet the group for intros and to get settled into camp.
Then, over the weekend, we will incorporate mindfulness practices under the guidance of a liscensed mental health therapist, to explore mind and body connections while climbing.

Through these practices, we hope to build your confidence and technical skills, creating routines that can be applied to your personal climbing.

This weekend is curated for climbers looking to kick of their rock season, building comfort and confidence, whether on the sharp end or with solid movement skills. It is also a great chance to explore a new-to-you area and grow your community!

  • This weekend will take place at various climbing crags in Unaweep Canyon, which has several climbing zones for all ability levels. The location we choose will vary based on group size, expectations, group experience, and weather.

  • CONSIDERATIONS

Desert Weather – The sun is intense and hydration is vital! Light-colored and loose-fitting clothing will help keep you cool. But in the shade, especially in Unaweep Canyon temperatures can drop. Having some insulation to keep you warm is highly recommended.
